The Seine, a new carbon-free river transport route for logistics with FLUDIS

What if the Seine became a key route for carbon-free transport in the city? FLUDIS is banking on electric barges and cargo bikes to streamline urban logistics, reduce emissions and avoid traffic jams.
‘River transport is a solution for the future,’ says Gilles Manuelle, president and founder of FLUDIS. Every morning, its electric boats deliver several tonnes of goods to Parisian businesses without congesting the roads.
By combining river transport with optimised urban logistics, FLUDIS offers an effective alternative to congested road networks. ‘By river, we have a guarantee of on-time delivery, which makes operations really simple,’ emphasises Gilles Manuelle.
